The maintenance period will be starting at approximately:

Saturday October 22 2016, 18:00 GMT to Sunday October 23 2016, 04:00 GMT

During this time, you can submit EDI/XML files via FTP/sFTP and send your attached documents via email. These files be held and processed once the scheduled maintenance is complete.  All Desktop features will be available but the processing may be delayed.
